Famous residents of Saint-Petersburg will help develop the underground space of the city

The opinion of famous residents of Saint-Petersburg will be taken into account while developing the underground space of the city. At the meeting of the city government on March, 23 there was created an expert advisory committee for foundations and underground buildings, says "Fontanka" reporter.
The committee will assist in formulating and making technical decisions in the field of design, building, reconstruction and exploitation of buildings and constructions, using the underground space; it will prepare proposals for changes in the legislation in this context and will perform other recommendation functions.
It is mentioned in the document that members of the committee take part in the work of the Committee on a voluntary basis. The head of it is the vice-governor Roman Philiminov. Its members are the employees of the Building Committee, the Committee for Urban Development and Architecture, the Committee for Nature Management and Ecology, "LenNIIproekt", Pc, "All-Russian Vedeneev Hydraulic Engineering Research Institute", Pc, specialists in Civil defense and emergency situations, department chairman of «Underground structures and foundations department" of Polytechnic University, employees of "LENGIPROINZhPROEKT", director of "PETER-GIB", Ltd and many others.
